His Excellency Chief Ambassador Sir Sylvester Okeyoba Okafor, a distinguished leader, humanitarian, and visionary entrepreneur, was born on September 21, 1964, in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria. Renowned for his exceptional contributions across various sectors, Ambassador Okafor embodies a commitment to service, innovation, and global collaboration. Education and Early Career:

Between 1969 and 1981, Sir Okafor attended numerous primary and secondary schools in Nigeria, completing his high school diploma before pursuing commercial studies in Onitsha. While attending school part-time, he worked at his father’s over-the-counter medical store in the Head Bridge Patient Medicine Market Onitsha, Anambra State Nigeria.  The largest patient medicine market place in West Africa at the time.

By 1983, Sir Okafor was elected Secretary of the Onitsha Patient Medicine Market, and two years later, he assumed the role of General Manager of Sylco Stores Nigeria Limited, one of his father’s enterprises. In 1987, he relocated to Lagos and founded Nemoai Investments Nig. Limited. This entrepreneurial journey expanded in 1990 when he established Nemoai Publications, launching Nigeria’s first crime magazine, in Lagos, Nigeria. He also authored a book called Cocaine Carnage, a seminal 700-page treatise on drug abuse and its societal impacts.

In 1998, Sir Okafor migrated to the United States, where he continued his academic pursuits. He earned an Associate Degree in Legal Research and Writing from the Blackstone School of Law in Dallas, Texas, and certifications in data entry and mental health services from the Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation.

Professional Experience:

Ambassador Okafor has amassed over 18 years of experience in managing home and healthcare services in the United States. His diverse expertise includes:

  • Mental Health and Rehabilitation: With over 15 years as a Psychiatric Technician and Rehabilitation Specialist, he provided care for dual-diagnosis clients and individuals with substance abuse and mental health challenges.

  • Administration and Leadership: He has held leadership roles in organizations such as Sotace Global Technologies & Energy Resources, LLC, Juli-Jen Healthcare Services, and National Legal Research Associates.

  • Publishing and Advocacy: Founder of Nemoai Publications and co-author of several academic papers on the GRACE™ Cooperative Strategy.
